Aikido In Louisa

In our ever-connected world of iPhones, iPads, blackberries and other smart devices, we’re multi-tasking more than ever before. On top of that, people demand our time, compete for our attention, and we are forced to shift focus constantly. As a result, we have a harder and harder time following through with tasks and staying on track. Aikido affords one the stability to focus on mental and physical aspects of your life which will, in turn, only improve your personal and professional commitments and achievements. A comprehensive training program, Aikido is carried on in a friendly yet professional, co-ed atmosphere with ages 13 and older training together. It is an on-going program which will continue throughout the year. Beginners get individual attention from the instructor and senior students to become familiar with the basics of Aikido practice. This form of martial arts works on discipline and teaches participants to respect others, as well as to show empathy for them. As participants continue through these classes, they will obtain belts based on the levels they achieve. Jeff Martin, who has over 20 years of experience and received his Shidoin certificate in 2014, is the instructor. Discounts will be given to families with 3 or more members enrolled as well as those only able to attend once a week.
