Michael Allman @ Louisa Arts Center
Apr 8 @ 7:30 pm

Michael Allman is lead vocalist and front man of the Mile High Club Band. Michael’s dad is legendary rocker, GREGG ALLMAN, a founding member of the famed “Allman Brothers Band”. Michael looks and sounds very similar to his famous father, yet he has his own distinctive style of Rock and Blues. Michael performs his original songs like IF DREAMS WERE MONEY and a MULE NAMED WHISKEY. You’ll also hear many Allman Brothers Band hits like RAMBLIN’ MAN and MIDNIGHT RIDER.

Michael Allman (above, son of Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Greg Allman), Charles Neville (below) of the legendary Neville Brothers, along with incendiary Texas blues guitarist Jeff Pitchell (bottom) will be performing in a supergroup configuration November 29 at Danbury's Palace Theater. Allman and Neville both chatted with The Newtown Bee ahead of the show, hoping to see a packed house of rock and blues fans from town at their Saturday night showcase.

Bird Dogs – Everly Brothers Experience @ Louisa Arts Center
Apr 28 @ 7:30 pm

The Bird Dogs bring a genuine and youthful Everly Brothers experience to life on stage. When guitars became electric, the Everly Brothers bridged the gap between country and rock n roll. They created countless hits like BYE BYE LOVE, HELLO LITTLE SUSIE, ALL I HAVE TO DO IS DREAM, and so many more. The Everly Brothers inspired bands like Buddy Holly, Simon & Garfunkel, the Beatles and continue to influence artists around the world today.
